Finally got a Camera!!!!

This is my new camera!! I got a great deal on it at Target!! I decided it was time for me to just buy one, becuz I wasn't going to get it another way. This is also just an early birthday present to myself! The camera, camera case, memory card and a 3 yr warranty was less than 200 bucks!! Total being 192.31. I'm pretty stoked on the fact that I have a camera! At the time I got it I didn't know that it was red, that made me even more happy when I found that out!! So now I have a camera and I don't have to depend on the ppl to get pictures for my facebook, myspace and blogspot!! So hopefully this will help me to keep up on updating this thing a little better. Haha It has 10.3mp, 2.7" screen and 3X optical zoom. I'm going to get a screen protective film put on. I'm just so excited about this!! My electronic life is pretty much complete. Except I don't have a laptop, but I can live without that at this point in my life. Haha So that is my news for now. Please stay posted, as I will be updating this more often now!! Till then... It's been a long time!!

Hey everyone, sorry it's been so long since I've updated this thing. I am really bad at keeping up w things!! Well I'm still up in Utah, oh joy. There isn't really much up here to do. I have only sorta dated one guy since I've been up here.
Funny story actually....When i moved up here I was looking for a dental assistant job. It was so hard. I went a whole month w/o being able to get a job. I went into two different dental offices and had two interviews. One was just a regular interview where you sit down and talk. The second interview is what is called an in office interview, that's where I got to actually work w the doctor and the other ppl in the office. It was lame cuz they both told me that I would hear back from them in the next couple days, never heard back from either!! I was so distraught. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to find a job. After that I started applying for just about anything!! The whole time I was praying and studying my scriptures like crazy. Well one day I decided to sleep in and go job hunting in the afternoon. Well this guy, David, he was my home teacher for like a week. haha He called me and I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. He left a message, these were his exact message, "Tricia, you bum. This is David. If you are still looking for a job, we're hiring and it would be freaking awesome if you worked here. Let me know, we are interviewing today. the sooner you get a hold of me the better, that is if you want the best ever. Give me a call back." Yes I saved the message cuz it made me laugh!! So I got directly up and got ready and called him back. I went in at noon. In the words of my boss, "She rocked her interview." I didn't take the job right away, cuz I was still waiting for a call back from one of the dental offices I interviewed with. I walked out of the building and something in me, the Spirit, told me to go back. I got in my car and the same feeling came to me. I drove down the road and it just kept telling me to go back. So I turned around and when I got there Dave, the boss, had gone to lunch. I just hung out til he got back. As soon as he did I told him I would take the job. Thank goodness I did, I never heard back from the dental office!! In all reality David was the answer to my prayers!! I've been at my job for almost four months, on the 17th of this month. I have moved areas and I'm still trying to learn what I'm doing in this area. Basically what our company does it we build real estate investor websites and e-commerce websites. What I did before I moved areas was deal with the angry ppl and billing. Oh that was the best. Ppl yelling at you for stealing their money, it was great!! No joke, there was a different reason to laugh every day. Now what I do is actually help out w websites. I'm tec-support now. It's a bit more advanced then what I was doing. But I got a raise and I'm learning quick. I was so blessed to have David help me out!! We started to hang out after I got the job. It was a blast too! I got to know him and his roommates, who I kind of knew before, but I got to know them each a lot better. We hung out every day for a month or so. I was just so happy to have ppl to hang out w and do stuff w! Well David, confused the crap outta me, as guys typically do. He was the one initiating everything and would call me after he got out of school. Of course I didn't mind it, but I just didn't know what to think. So after about a few weeks of not hanging out w him as much I asked him what was up. He said he just wasn't looking to be in a relationship. I was relieved cuz I really didn't want to be in one either. I was just going w the flow. Like I said he got me my job and I will always be thankful to him for that!! We still hang out every now and again, but not at all like we use to. I actually work in the same room as him now, haha, it's interesting every day. Oh and I acquired a new nick name, hopefully it only stays in Utah, cuz i hate it!! Everyone at work calls me Pat. Sick!! The worse thing is that i answer to it. So if anyone from AZ ever calls me that I will hit you!!
I was also blessed to be able to go home for Thanksgiving and go up to Idaho for Christmas!! Both trips were so much fun!!
Thanksgiving: My dad got me a plane ticket so that I wouldn't have to drive the 13 hrs that it would of taken to get to Mark and Melody's. I took the 26th through the 1st off from work. I only really took two days off, cuz we got Thanksgiving and Friday off anyway. So I flew home on the 26th. I was blessed that Aaron lives in Salt Lake! He went and got my car for me so that I wouldn't have to pay for parking at the airport when I got back. He also picked me up that Monday. I would like to thank you again Aaron for doing that!! I really appreciated it!! Any who, Thanksgiving was so freaking good! My sister-in-law, Melody, cooked dinner. I would have to say that she is the best cook that I know!! I'm going to take cooking lessons from her!! On Friday, one of my very good friends, Kathryn, was able to come up from Tucson to visit me. Her little family is about to have a new addition!! Truman is due in 11 weeks!! It was so great to be able to see her, David and Cadence!! Cadence is growing up so fast!! She is just the cutest little girl! So glad that we were able to see one another!! I can't wait to see them again!! Other than that, I hung out with my fam. We had a good time, saw a movie, went to Cabellas and ate like champs!! Thanks again Mark and Melody!! I had a blast!! On Sunday I was able to go home to P-town for the night!! I was so happy to be home!! Kourtney, my best friend!!, put on a shindig for me. I was able to see quite a few ppl! Brittney included! I missed her like crazy!! I also went and saw my friend Gary Noal Peterson!! I had to see him! He's just a blast to hang out with! It was quite an eventful night, full of rock band and food and good friends!! Thanks again Kourt!! I miss you tons!! On Monday before I headed back to the airport I was able to go to my old office and see everyone there. It was so good to see Dr. Dalton and everyone in the office!! I really truly miss working in that office!! Then my parents and I headed to the airport, ate there and I almost missed my flight. Haha I waited a little to long to go through check point! But I made it and cried as we took off. All together it was a great short trip!! I miss everyone and can't wait to make a trip back!!
Christmas and New Yrs: For Christmas I was able to get Christmas eve through New Yrs day off!! I was so happy!! I've been looking forward to seeing my sister and her little family ever since I moved up to Utah. They are only about five hrs away. Just didn't get the chance to get up there before now. I had to go into work for a few hrs on Christmas Eve, I got paid time and a half for the two hrs that I was there. I left at 11am. The drive really wasn't that bad. I was trying to beat a storm that was suppose to hit. I must of missed it or it just didn't happen. I got to Idaho about 4:30pm. As soon as I got there we went to the store to get food for Christmas dinner. It was a lot of fun actually!! My nieces are the most adorable girls in the entire world!! Lexi is one now and she imitates just about anything you do! She can do the McDonald's, kintucky fried chicken and a pizza hut dance. It's the cutest thing!! I loved it! She can say momma, da:which is dad, ssss:which is for sissy, bu:which is for her bunny and more. She understands so much! She is just so smart!! I can't believe it!! Oh and she is walking. Last I saw her she was just learning how to pull herself up to stand. Hailey, will be 4 months on the 10th, all she does it smile! She only fusses if she is hungry. Otherwise she is the happiest baby, as Lexi was when she was her age. These girls are the most loved and happiest kids I've ever seen!! Ans spoiled, but who could help not spoiling them!! Christmas day my parents flew in. They flew into Boise around one in the afternoon. My parents got me diamond earrings!! Diamond is my birth stone. Oh my goodness I haven't taken them out of my ears since I put them in!! I love them!! We had Christmas dinner, Josh's grandparents came over also. They are the nicest folks I've met! Just so willing to help out! We opened presents through out the day. Lexi was so over whelmed by the end of the day. When she opened a present, she would rip and hand what she ripped to either DeAnna or josh, it was so cute!! I think the whole time we were there we were entertained by her then anything else. Hopefully DeAnna puts up all the videos that she took. On Friday, we just hung out at the house and then that night we went to a Hockey game!! Oh goodness my, I loved it!! I haven't seen a hockey game since the last game of the the Sundogs last yr. The Idaho Stealheads played Utah, haha, no matter what I couldn't get away form Utah. I don't remember who won, I'm pretty sure it was the Stealheads. I was just enjoying being w my fam and watching hockey!! We were luck enough to sit next to Josh's Uncle and two cousins. Joe, Josh's uncle, loved holding the girls!! Saturday Josh and my dad worked all day!! Literally!! They didn't get home til 1:30am. My sister, the girls, my mom and I went shopping. Boise has a nice mall! We werre at the mall fo 5 hrs!! I know crazy right. It was fun tho. Lexi was exaused when we got home, she fell asleep so fast! Sunday was a lazy day!! We sat at home and watched movies all day. It was nice. monday we got up and we went on a train ride. It was about a two hr ride, up and back. We started at Horseshoe Bend and went to Banks and back. It was nice. Beautiful scenery! It followed the Payette River. The river was frozen in a lot on areas and there was snow all around. They had a open car, it was freezing, but so cool to see the landscape!! Then we went out to dinner at Goodwood. It's a bbq place. Very nice and good food!! I ate a ton! I think Tuesday was just another relaxed day. At like 4 I went with DeAnna and Josh to help decorate for a party that their ward was putting on for New Yrs. It turned out looking really good! Then we went home and the guys went to work and us girls went out for just a little bit. We went to the outlet mall. When we got there it was like 15 mins before everything closed, so my mom and DeAnna picked a store and went in while i sat in the car w Lexi and Hailey, cuz they were both sleeping. My sister said that that was probably the fastest she ever shopped. Haha Wednesday was a busy and long day!! We all got up and ready to head up to McCall for Josh's dad's wedding. We left at 1:30pm and it took us two hrs to drive up. It was sorta windy and I think everyone in the car got a little car sick in their own way. We were all really happy to get out of the car by the time we got there. We had an hr before the wedding, which was nice to just relax and wait. The wedding was so nice! It snowed outside during the ceremony. It was beautiful. I think just about everyone almost cried. I know I teared up. Oh I got mistaken for Josh's wife or Lexi's mom more than once. I was like no, I'm just the sister-in-law or aunt!! Haha After the wedding we had dinner, it was not that great. Then we did cake and changed for the drive back to Boise. It seemed like a shorter drive back! We headed straight to the ward party. My parents were dead tired, so my sister took them and Lexi home. Josh, Hailey and I hung out there. They had a dancing, face painting and a movie room. I went to the movie room and watched the rest of Wall-E. The movie got over 15 mins before midnight. I rung in the new yr with my niece in my arms and watching ppl clean up. It gave me a chance to txt ppl "Happy New Yr!". It was nice. Although I did miss everyone back home!! New Yrs day was the day that I drove back and my parents flew back. We woke up, got ready, packed and went to get breakfast at almost noon, haha. We alll said our goodbyes and I cried again as I drove off. I followed them to the airport trun off, to fill up my car and then I dove back to Provo. It was such a great trip!! I really can't wait to go up again!! Thanks again DeAnna and Josh!! I had a great time!!
All together I had wonderful Holidays!! I'm looking forward to a trip back to AZ hopefully in March!! I miss everyone there like crazy and I hope everyone is doing really well! Oh and sorry I haven't updated this in forever!! My life just really isn't that exciting up here. I will try to post exciting things as they happen!! I left a bunch out of this post, so I will be posting another one here in a couple of days. Oh and sorry there are no pics, I don't have a camera, so I have to get them from Melody and DeAnna. Most of the time I try to post pics on my facebook. So check that out for pics. Ok until another time. Peace!

Three wks in Provo

Well it's been three wks since I moved from my home town, Preskit, to Provo. This pic is of me on our couch in the living room. Notice I'm wearing a U of A shirt, I miss Arizona like crazy!

I've been on the job search for Dental Assisting position. I've have two interviews at one place and haven't had any calls from any other places. So if I don't get a job doing Dental Assisting I will just go find two part time jobs I guess. I will hopefully know tomorrow if I got a job in this one office, but there are no guarantees. But I'm praying.

Today I have been a little home sick!! I really miss my family and friends back home! I haven't had a chance to get to know anyone here besides my roommates, which are so great!! I'm so lucky to have them be my roommates!! They have kept me from starving and I am so thankful to them for that!! Their names are Cari, Marnie, Brian and my cousin Dove, so far. Marnie and Brian are bother and sister and their other brother will be living w us too eventually. We all get along so well, which is very nice!! They help w not missing home so much.

I also have gotten into the Twilight series. They are books. I haven't read so much in a long while. But Stephanie Meyer just captivates you w the story so it's really hard to put down! I at least have been enjoying reading them. I just finished w the second book and Marnie's brother has the third, so hopefully I will be able to barrow it soon!!

I've been to my ward once since I got here. The first wk that I got here. There wasn't many ppl there that wk. And I was outta town last wk, at my Aunt Deb and Uncle Bill's place, so I missed the new ppl that had gotten there that wk. So hopefully I will be able to get to know some ppl this wk. Also hoping that FHE starts up next wk!! I miss those activities!

Speaking of last wkend....which was so much freaking fun!! Dove and I decided to go to her parents for the Labor Day Wkend. They had a Fair and Rodeo going on. We went up Friday and satyed thru Monday morning. We went to the Rodeo and Rodeo Dance Friday and Saturday night. That was such a blast! My cousin Con is super funny and loves to dance, it was nice to not just stand around the whole time. Con is a great dancer and is such a goof!! I really hope that he decides to go on a mission, but no push. If he feels it's right for him he will go. I really wish I knew some girls to hook him up w!! He is so much fun!! I'm really glad that I got a chance to know him better! The rest of the wkend was chill. We didn't do much. I'm happy that I got to ride the horses!! I really enjoyed that! Even tho I'm just now starting not to be sore from it. Haha. I can't wait to go back down!! It was such a blast!!

Three wks

On Thursday, I told my boss that my last day at work will be the 14th of Aug. So I will be moving away from my home town in three wks. I'm sorta freaken, but at the same time I'm way excited. I'm freaken cuz this will be my first big move. I've moved outta my parents place before, but it was like just down the street and I could see them when ever I wanted. Now that I'm moving away form "home" I won't just be able to drop by, say hey. I actually will go months w/o seeing them. It's going to be different.

Everyone that I have talked to about Provo says that I'm going to love it. I sure hope so! My cousin, Dove, already found a place for us to live. It's in a house, which I was happy about that. We will be sharing a room for the time being, which is fine. The only thing I'm going to not like is that fact that I don't get to take my bed w me!! I will be sleeping on a bunk bed, eww. But I guess that's what you sign up for when you share a tiny room like ours.

So, the wk of the 18th I will be in Provo, for good. My dad is hoping that we will just be able to fit whatever I'm taking w me inside of my '90 Honda Accord, so that he doesn't have to make the trip up there. In the next three wks I will be going through all my stuff and weeding out all the stuff thatI will not need. The worst part about moving is the packing and unpacking!! But it needs to be done. Getting started

Hello all! Well this is my first time blogging. I decided that I would get a blog becuz I will be moving in a month or so and I wanted to be able to have a way for my family and friends to check on how things are and what I will be up to.

Yes I'm moving!! Finally. Not that I don't love Prescott, it's just time for a change! I have decided to move to Provo, Utah to live w my cuz, Dove. I told myself at the beginning of this yr that I would move. I have contenplated where I should move and I prayed about where I should move, the Lord gave me a direct answer. It was clear that I should be moving to Provo! So in Aug. sometime I will be moving up to Provo.

Also exciting news!! I may already have a job. My dad's friend, Joe, has been talking w his niece, who's husband is a dentist. Joe has let me know that they have a lady who is pregnant and will not be returning. The Doctor likes that I have been trained by a dentist and not in a school. Joe is going to be setting me up w a number to call and what they may require of me! So things are just falling right into place. I can't wait to move up there!

I just recently made a trip up there at the end of June and I just love it up there!! Funny thing is that I told myself I would never move to Utah, but when I was there in April for Conference I just was captivated by the beauty of the area! The mountains are definitly a perk as well. I look forward to the experiences! Now all I need to do is set a date of when I will be moving.
